“Don’t Be Sorry Be Sure” is an initiative undertaken by Afiswitch (Pty) Ltd in order to provide a professional and efficient criminal background check service in an effort to reduce crime and manage risk. Criminal background checks can be performed on employees or contractors by means of fingerprints. In doing so, our clients receive accurate and up to date criminal record checks on individuals.

Fingerprints are digitally captured before being processed via an Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) against the fingerprint database of the South African Police Service (SAPS). Results are released within a 48-hour period.

In the Report Authentication section of www.afiswitch.co.za enter the Host request reference number and the SA ID/ Passport number issued on the criminal background check certificate in order to view and/or print the original certificate issued.
